How Does it Work?

When your dog urinates on the synthetic dog grass surface of the Potty Park, the urine drains through a pattern of designed openings, which empty into a secure reservoir at the base of the Potty Park unit.  When you’re ready to empty the reservoir, simply pull the collection drawer open by its handle and empty the contents into the toilet.  No fuss.  No muss. And for other doggie business, simply pick up the feces as you would from any grassy area.

The science behind the design of the Potty Park makes it attractive to dogs, and especially attractive to pet owners who don’t have the time for complicated maintenance, the replanting and watering of alternative grasses, or the acrobatic agility needed to balance an open-sided tray while carrying it to an appropriate disposal site.

Dog Potty Training

The Potty Park Puppy House-training Technique

Conventional housebreaking methods like putting down newspapers, using pretreated pads, etc. aren’t nearly as effective as the Potty Park.  And with Potty Park, you won’t have to keep your puppy confined all day in a cage or crate.  Training a puppy with the Potty Park means that house-training is no longer a chore.

When dog potty training a puppy, it is advisable to feed the puppy at the same time each day and from the same location.  Immediately after the puppy eats, it should be taken to the Potty Park dog potty and given a simple voice command such as “go potty.”  (The vocal command will prove to be helpful later when your puppy needs only a reminder.) Establishing a routine is one of the most important steps toward successful dog potty training.  Keep in mind that your puppy wants nothing more than to please you.  Your job is to simply make pleasing you something your puppy can accomplish.  Encourage your puppy in the right direction and give it praise for a job well done.

The Potty Park puppy and dog training technique has shown to be one of the most successful methods.  In fact, the Potty Park is now the preferred system of many breeders who have the challenge of house-training several puppies at the same time.  Here’s what one dog breeder has to say about using the Potty Park: “By nature a puppy is happy to please and strives for a positive response.  When I take my puppies to the Potty Park and reward them with praise, I feel that I am helping these puppies to develop good life-long habits which will be so appreciated by their future owner.  Potty Park has made house-training so much less of a hassle that I proudly advertise that my puppies come housebroken, and I now recommend Potty Park to all of my clients. ”  ~Cathy A.

  • Fully assembled out of the box, including everything you need.
  • Enhanced with pheromones to attract your dog.
  • Designed for indoor & outdoor use.

Convenience

Reduce frequent pee walks for apartment & condominium residents by providing a piece of the park at home.  Easy for dogs to use and humans to clean – you don’t even need a hose to clean it!

Health

Effortlessly provide your veterinarian with your dogs urine sample and monitor for harmful irregularities.

Encourages dogs to pee as often as their body requires, greatly reducing the risk of Urinary Tract Infection, kidney stones, and anxiety & stress related issues.

Economic

Pee pads are a never ending expense… the one time purchase of a Potty Park™ is often significantly less than a one year supply of pee pads.

Environment

Pee pads are not environmentally friendly, creating massive amounts of waste for the earth’s landfills.

Love of Your Animal

Animals love to please their owners and when they need to go bathroom, they often hold it for as long as possible, which is not good for their health.  If nobody is home to let them out, your dog begins to stress and will hold it in until they can’t hold it any longer.  This poses problems for your dog’s bladder and may even lead to behavioral issues.

Dogs know where they want to go to the bathroom – on a nice green piece of grass.  When you take that away from them, you are removing them from their natural environment.  It would be like sending you to a washroom without any toilets in it – pretty confusing, right?  Show your pets you love them by including a little piece of their environment where you want them to relieve themselves.
